Buffalo Chicken Burger Sliders

Delicious buffalo chicken burger sliders on sweet potato buns!

Buffalo flavored anything is something I always find myself craving. These little sliders definitely cured that. I layered them on a roasted sweet potato bun, avocado, chopped romaine and sir kensington’s [3] buffalo ranch. You could also use a regular slider bun or lettuce wrap! Or just serve them over a big salad.

Buffalo Chicken Burger Sliders

  • Yield: about 6 sliders depending on how big you make the burgers 1x


1 lb. ground chicken

2-3 tbsp chopped onion, optional

3 tbsp hot sauce, I used Frank’s

2 tbsp chopped cilantro leaves

1/4 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp garlic powder

salt and pepper

1 sweet potato cut into 1/4 inch rounds

sliced avocado, chopped romaine and buffalo ranch or regular ranch for serving, optional


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Lightly grease a baking sheet and lay out your sweet potato rounds in a single layer.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, flipping them half-way.

Meanwhile, in a large mixing bowl combine ground chicken, onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and almond flour. In a seperate bowl whisk together hot sauce and the egg, add in with the meat mixture and combine. Don’t over mix.

Heat large skillet (with a tbsp of olive oil) or the grill to medium-high heat and cook each burger for about 5 minutes per side or until they are cooked through.

Serve on your sweet potato buns (or bun of choice) with desired toppings and enjoy!
