These frozen apple cider margaritas are the most refreshing and fun cocktail for spooky season!

These margaritas are so festive for fall and halloween! However, it is still very warm here in Texas so I wanted to make them frozen. This makes them the perfect transitional recipe this season. All you need is a handful of ingredients. Also, skull glasses are optional but so cute! I will link mine here [3].

- Yield: 2 drinks 1x
Ingredients
Cinnamon brown sugar rim
1 wedge of lemon
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Margaritas
2–2.5 cups spiced apple cider ice cubes
3–4 oz tequila
1 oz cointreau
1 oz honey
Pinch of ground cinnamon
Apple slices and cinnamon sticks for garnish
Instructions
Use the lemon wedge to rub the rim of your glasses. Then gently dip in a shallow bowl or plate of cinnamon brown sugar until the rims of your glasses are coated. You can squeeze the lemon on your apple slices to keep from browning.
In a blender combine spiced apple cider ice cubes, tequila, cointreau, honey and cinnamon. Blend until it’s a slushy consistency.
Pour into your prepared glasses and garnish with the cinnamon sticks and apple slices. Enjoy!
Notes
*to make spiced apple cider ice cubes, just pour spiced apple cider in your ice cube mold of choice and let freeze for at least a few hours or overnight.
