My Favorite French Press Coffee Recipe

Life is too short for bad coffee so I’m sharing my all time favorite cinnamon coconut french press coffee recipe!

If you’re anything like me, you are coffee obsessed. I actually go to bed dreaming of my morning cup. I also have to use every ounce of will-power to not go for that late afternoon cup. It’s not just the energy it gives me to conquer my busy day, it’s the warmth and taste! One of my favorite things ever, is when my husband wakes me up in bed with a cup of coffee, and he knows exactly how I like mine.

I used to be big on sugar and dairy creamer. Now I’m all about cinnamon and coconut creamer. It’s still sweet and creamy. However, I feel way better after drinking it.

I love my Nespresso for it’s convenience, but there is nothing like french press coffee. It’s so rich and flavorful. If you don’t have a french press, I highly recommend investing in one.. mine was super affordable! French press coffee means you can use specialty grade coffee beans! My favorite are Boyer’s Mash Up coffee (sold at walmart or on Their beans are 100% Arabica beans from the world’s select growing regions and then they’re carefully roasted in high-altitude, low-humidity Colorado air to create the most smooth and mellow taste.

Mash-Up Coffee goes above and beyond compared to most store bought coffee – it’s like a “barista in a bag” experience, the bag smells like a coffee shop. All of their coffees use two or more single origins into one delicious bag of coffee. The Mash-Up combos include – Sumatra & Peru  (proceeds from this bag support the rebuilding & improving schools), Costa Rica & Honduras, and Columbia & Sumatra.

I got discount codes for you to buy your own mash-up coffee:
25% of 1 bag with code “dashofmandi25”
33% off 3 bags with code “dashofmandi33”

I don’t have a coffee grinder – so I just bring my coffee beans to Whole Foods and use theirs! A lot of grocery stores allow you to utilize their coffee bean grinders.
