Cream cheese & tomato stuffed “everything” chicken tastes exactly like the bagel. This protein packed dish is healthy, easy, and delicious.
Being from New Jersey, an everything bagel is the cure to everything. An everything bagel with cream cheese and tomato has nursed every single one of my hangovers. Add them to my long list of comfort foods.
I was at Trader Joe’s [3] and saw their “everything but the bagel sesame seasoning blend.” I’m not sure why I didn’t purchase this stuff sooner, because it was an absolute game-changer. Don’t worry if you don’t have a Trader Joe’s nearby, you can easily make the same exact seasoning. Click here for a homemade recipe [4]! You can also buy a few other brand names of it on Amazon [5]. Also, it makes a really good snack or breakfast sprinkled on some avocado toast.
This dish was really satisfying! It has the same exact flavors of a classic everything bagel, and it was very filling. If you follow a dairy-free diet, you can definitely stuff these with something other than light cream cheese. Extra veggies would be great, such as asparagus. Or maybe some dairy-free pesto spread!
I love how the ingredients to this recipe are so minimal. With all the cooking and grocery shopping I do, that is definitely something I look for in a recipe. All those ingredients add up real quick!

Cream Cheese & Tomato Stuffed “Everything” Chicken
- Yield: 3–4 servings 1x
Ingredients
4Â boneless & skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup light cream cheese (2 tbsp per chicken breast-or to taste)*
1/4 cup “everything but the bagel seasoning”, or to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
2-3 roma tomatoes, sliced very thin
chopped chives for toppings, optional
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
Using a sharp knife, carefully slice the breasts from the side almost all the way through.
Open each breast and evenly spread about 2 tbsp of light cream cheese in each breast.
Then add your sliced tomatoes.
Fold the top half of the breast over the cream cheese and tomatoes.
Place the stuffed chicken breasts in a single layer on a baking dish & brush them with olive oil.
Sprinkle about 1 tbsp of the “everything seasoning” on each chicken breast – press it on so it sticks.
Bake for about about 30 minutes or until your chicken is fully cooked through.
Top with fresh chopped chives if desired.
