The best crispy brussel sprouts with creamy dijon aioli dipping sauce! Oven baked and air fried methods both available in the recipe.

crispy brussel sprouts

Where are my brussels sprout fans at!?

It’s funny because as a kid, I despised brussels sprouts (along with a bunch of other foods I now love) and now a days I can’t get enough of them. Once fall hits I tend to make them with so many of my dinners. They tend to be such a good side. The crispier the better right?

These super crispy brussel sprouts with a dijon aioli make the best holiday party appetizer or side-dish. They are seriously so addicting and fun to eat with the dip! Also great for game day – can always use some veggies with all of those buffalo wings and pizza 😉

The aioli is the easiest thing to whip up. I really believe it was made for dipping with veggies! Don’t stop with Brussels sprouts.

All you need are a few simple ingredients:

mayo, olive oil, dijon, garlic, salt, pepper, and fresh or dried parsley. I don’t know about you, but these are staples that I always have in my home.

As for the brussels sprout portion of this recipe. All you need are the brussels, olive oil, salt and pepper. So simple! I’m loving minimal ingredient recipes. Who says simple can’t be delicious?

Brussels sprouts are hands down my favorite veggie.. especially in Fall and Winter. They’re so versatile. I have a handful of ways to make them but this one is the easier; as well as most delicious.

Ever since I started making my brussels sprouts in my air fryer, it’s the only way I ever want to make them. Probably because it’s SO quick. Also, they come out crispier than ever this way. In other words, if you have an air fryer, make them the air fryer way (recipe listed below) and you’ll thank me later.

If you don’t have an air fryer – no worries at all. I also have an oven recipe. If you’re looking for a good air fryer, mine is linked here [8]. In my opinion, it’s worth every penny. I also heard this Ninja air fryer [9] is amazing. Air fryers make the perfect gift.

I have quite a few kitchen gadgets and appliances that I’ve collected over the years and this one really outshines the rest. The funny part is my husband begged to get one for years and I always said “no I do not need another kitchen appliance” and then finally I gave in. Now I’m obsessed. He was right, I was wrong.. rare occasion 😉 But, I thank him quite often for talking me into one of the best purchases ever.

Air Fried Brussels sprouts

The holiday season can be so chaotic between the parties, cooking, shopping, on top of our already very busy routines it can be so much! I love how easy and simple this recipe is. The dijon aioli ingredients are items I always have in my home.

Ingredients

Crispy Brussels Sprouts
1 lb. fresh brussels sprouts, halved. or cut into wedges if they are bigger
1-2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 tsp garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste

Dijon Aioli
1/4 cup mayo
2 tbsp olive oil
1 & 1/2 tbsp dijon
1 tsp minced garlic, garlic powder will also work
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp fresh chopped or dried parsley

Instructions

Oven Method
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Toss your brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Arrange them on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until they are crispy and golden enough to your liking! Toss them half way.
Dip the brussels sprouts in the dipping sauce and enjoy!

Air Fryer Method
Add brussels sprouts (mixed with olive oil, salt, and pepper) in a single layer on the air fryer basket.
Cook at 380 degrees F for about 6 minutes.
Toss them around and cook for another 5-7 minutes or until they’re crispy and golden. Every air fryer is different, I personally like mine super crispy so I keep them in longer! Just keep an eye on them.

Aioli
Combine all the aioli ingredients besides the parsley.
Mix together and chill until the brussel sprouts are ready.
Serve aioli in a small dipping bowl and top with fresh or dried parsley.
