These sesame crunch chicken wraps are the perfect lunch. Bursting with fresh flavors from the sesame honey dressing, mandarins oranges, sesame sticks, chicken and more!
Since becoming a mother I find that lunch is the hardest meal of the day. It’s a busy time of day and so easy to forget about. Of course until I am starving and then just eat whatever snacks I can find in my pantry. I’ve been trying to make it a mission to come up with one new easy lunch recipe a week. These sesame crunch chicken wraps are definitely a winner!
Can I prep these ahead of time?
Yes, you can! I would combine all of the salad ingredients. Then make the dressing. Keep everything separate until you are ready to eat! Then add the salad to your wrap, drizzle on your desired amount of dressing and assemble your wrap. This way your wraps or salad won’t get soggy and will stay crunchy and fresh!

Print [2]Sesame Crunch Chicken Wraps
- Yield: 4 wraps
Ingredients
Dressing:
1/4 cup + 1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
1/4 cup avocado or olive oil
2 tbsp coconut aminos or soy sauce
3 tbsp honey
1 clove garlic, minced
1-2 tsp sesame seeds
salt to taste
Sesame crunch salad:
5 cups romaine, chopped
2 cups chicken, cooked and shredded or chopped into small pieces
1 (15 oz) can mandarin oranges, drained
1 cup matchstick carrots
1/2 cup sesame sticks, I get these at Trader Joe’s
1/3 cup sliced almonds
3 green onions, sliced, green part only
large wraps of choice, I used Mission spinach wraps
Instructions
First make your dressing by combining all of the ingredients. Taste and adjust if need be. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
In a large bowl combine romaine, chicken, mandarin oranges, carrots, sesame sticks, sliced almonds, and green onion.
If you are serving/eating all of your wraps right away, go ahead and pour on your desired amount of dressing and mix to combine. Add a heaping amount of salad to the center of your wrap and fold together like a burrito. Slice in half and enjoy! If you are not eating your wraps right away I suggest keeping the salad and dressing separate. You can add the dressing the wraps individually as you make them.
