Single Serve Apple Crisps

Description
You will need 3 oven safe ramekins or small oven safe bowls for this recipe.
Ingredients
Topping:
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
2 tbsp all purpose flour
2 tbsp brown sugar
pinch of cinnamon and salt
4 tbsp melted butter
Apple filling:
2 large red apples, cored, peeled and cut into small pieces
3 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp granulated sugar
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
pinch of cinnamon and salt
2 tsp honey
1 tsp cornstarch
serve with:
vanilla ice cream
caramel sauce
sprinkle of cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
First make the oat topping by combining oats, flour, 2 tbsp brown sugar, cinnamon and salt in a small mixing bowl. Mix and add the melted butter. Mix again until well combined. Set aside.
In another small to medium mixing bowl combine chopped apples, 3 tbsp brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, salt and honey. Mix well. Add in the cornstarch and mix until well combined.
Evenly distribute the apple filling in each ramekin. Top with oat topping.
Place the ramekins on top of a baking sheet. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the filling is bubbling and the oat topping is golden brown.
Top with vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce and cinnamon. Enjoy!
