This boozy Crockpot hot chocolate is the perfect cozy holiday drink! It’s silky, rich and so easy to throw together!
Let your Crockpot™ be your bartender this holiday season with this easy sipping drink. I’m all for convenience during the holiday season. Even when you’re having a small gathering, making multiple cocktails can be a hassle. Just throw all the ingredients in your slow-cooker for this recipe and yourself the most cozy cocktail. However, the Bailey’s won’t need to be added until right before serving!
The coconut cream gives this hot chocolate such a rich flavor and creamy texture. But, if coconut isn’t your thing you can swap it out for a can of condensed milk. I never have whole milk in my home so I used unsweetened cashew milk right from the carton. Feel free to use whatever milk you prefer! Regular dairy whole milk would do just fine. If you like a more rich hot chocolate, go with 5 cups of milk. For a lighter hot chocolate, I’d recommend 6 cups. That being said, I found 5 and a half cups was perfect for me!
When it comes to hot chocolate, it’s all about the toppings. Whipped cream, marshmallows, cinnamon sticks, candy canes, caramel sauce. The options are endless. I tend to go for whipped cream and sprinkled cinnamon. However, marshmallows make it so much fun this time of year! You can find some cute holiday themed ones at the stores too.
I know this holiday season looks a little different this year. But, it’s still important to do things that make us happy and celebrate!
