Easy turkey taco salad using all of Trader Joe’s ingredients like their spicy taco sauce, green goddess dressing, corn salsa, and elote corn chips!
A good salad goes a long way in our home. We could do entree salads for dinners multiple nights a week. It’s a great way eat something light. But, also get in your greens, protein, and healthy fats! However, I like to keep things pretty simple which is why I love this easy turkey taco salad.
I love making my own salad dressings. But with that being said, sometimes it’s easier to just buy pre-made ones. I love the green goddess salad dressing from Trader Joe’s. You can find it in the chilled produce section. The main ingredients are avocado, green onion, cold pressed lemon juice, basil, chives and garlic. It’s so delicious for salads, taco bowls, tacos – you name it!
Another Trader Joe’s product that makes this dish so much easier to throw together is their spicy taco sauce! I use it in my loaded beef taco skillet. Also, it makes a great marinade for shrimp or chicken tacos.
I used Trader Joe’s tomato-less corn salsa in this, it’s so tangy and delicious. We love not only adding it to salads, but just eating it with some plantain or corn chips. Hence, I used the organic elote corn chip dippers in this salad. I love a little crunch in my salad. These taste like Fritos with Dorito flavor, but they’re organic!
Finally, a couple other ingredients in this salad are romaine, cumin, chili powder, lime, mini peppers, avocado and grated cotija cheese. You can find all of these ingredients at Trader Joe’s, along with other grocery stores.

This salad is perfect for week-night dinners! It’s easy but super satisfying. Also, my husband loved it which makes it “husband approved” 😉 I know that’s not always easy with salads. A great side-dish for this meal would be my Mexican street corn brussels sprouts. I’m all about fun ways to eat those veggies!
