Peppermint Mocha Espresso Martinis

Ingredients

chocolate sauce or syrup for the rim
crushed candy canes for the rim
2 oz vodka
2 oz kahlua
2 shots of espresso
2 oz chobani peppermint mocha creamer, or any peppermint mocha creamer*
optional garnishes: mini candy and espresso beans

Instructions

Make the peppermint mocha rim by adding chocolate sauce to a shallow bowl or small plate. Then add the crushed candy canes to another shallow bowl or plate. Gently dip the glasses in the chocolate then the crushed candy canes to coat the rim. Set aside.

In a cocktail shaker add lots of ice followed by the vodka, kahlua, espresso and creamer. Shake (for at least 20 seconds, this is how you get that froth!)

Pour into your prepared glasses. I use a strainer because I find it helps get the drink extra frothy. This is completely optional.

Serve and enjoy!

Notes

*if you can’t find peppermint mocha creamer use 1 oz plain creamer with 1 oz chocolate syrup or sauce and 1/4 tsp peppermint extract
