These little cilantro lime chicken burger sliders are the perfect summer bite. Eat them with a mini Hawaiian roll, lettuce wrap style or my personal favorite – sweet potato bun!
I prep a bunch of these and eat them for lunch through-out the week for a simple and easy meal. They’re also loaded with flavor. They’re so good with a slice of avocado, some lettuce and my favorite Sir Kensington’s chipotle mayo.
Sliders are such a fun summer snack/meal. I also have my salmon burger sliders and they are SO delicious. However, I’m a big fan of these chicken burger sliders because they are extremely cheap to make. Ground chicken is very affordable along with the rest of the ingredients.

Ingredients
1 lb. ground chicken
2 tbsp cilantro, finely chopped
1 lime, juiced
1/2 tsp salt
pinch of pepper
1/4 cup white onion, chopped
1 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cumin
1/2 jalapeno, seeded and finely chopped (optional)
Instructions
In a medium mixing bowl combine all your ingredients. Don’t over-mix. Form into 8 small slider patties.
Heat large skillet (with a tbsp of olive oil) or the grill to medium-high heat and cook each burger for about 5 minutes per side or until they are cooked through.
Eat with a bun, lettuce wrap, sweet potato bun, or just on a plate! My favorite toppings are lettuce, avocado and chipotle mayo!
Notes
To make sweet potato buns cut a large sweet potato into 1/4 inch rounds and bake at 375 on a lined baking sheet with parchment paper in a single layer for 16-20 minutes, flipping them halfway.
