easy baked st. louis ribs

I made my husband the happiest man alive when I made him these. We had some St. Louis style ribs from Butcher Box in the freezer and I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to do with them. I wanted something summery but simple… so baking them and adding an easy minimal ingredient cherry BBQ glaze was the way to go!

These cooked perfectly in the oven, they were tender and fell off the bone but still had a great texture to them.

Cherry BBQ St. Louis Ribs

2.5 lbs. St Louis style ribs, membrane removed
1 tbsp paprika
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp coconut sugar, you can also use brown sugar
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
3 tbsp dijon
3/4 cup BBQ sauce
1/3 cup cherry preserves

Pat on your dry rub (salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder and coconut sugar) on both sides of your ribs.

Next brush on the dijon on both sides. Let ribs sit for 15 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Wrap ribs up with foil (like a burrito) and place on a baking sheet. Bake on the middle rack for two hours.

Combine BBQ sauce and cherry preserves.

Remove ribs from the oven when done baking and brush on the cherry BBQ sauce.

Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes.

Cut ribs, serve, and enjoy!
