These frozen spicy peach margaritas are the perfect sweet and spicy cocktail to cool you off this summer!
So, these margaritas might be my new favorite summertime drink to make at home. They are so easy to whip up. But, they taste like they are restaurant quality. The jalapeño simple syrup makes them! Also, I love that they’re made with real simple ingredients.
What will I need for this recipe:

Jalapeno Simple Syrup
1 cup water
1 cup granulated sugar
1 sliced jalapeño, you can keep the seeds
Spicy Peach Margaritas
Tajin for the rim, optional
2-2.5 cups frozen peach slices
2 oz jalapeño simple syrup, you can always add a little more but I suggest starting with this amount
1.5 oz fresh lime juice
1.5 oz Cointreau
3 oz tequila blanco
First make your jalapeño simple syrup. In a small sauce pan add your water and granulated sugar. Bring to a boil.
Add the jalapeño slices and reduce to a low simmer for about 12-14 minutes, stirring occasionally. It should thicken a bit.
Strain to remove the jalapeño slices and add to an air tight jar with a lid. Once cool, refrigerate until ready to use. It will stay good in the fridge for about 2-3 weeks.
For the margaritas, prep your glasses by running a lime wedge on the rim of each. Dip into a shallow plate or bowl of tajin to coat the rim.
In a blender add frozen peach slices, jalapeño simple syrup, lime juice, Cointreau and tequila. Blend until smooth. Taste and add more jalapeño simple syrup if desired.
Pour into prepared glasses and garnish with a frozen peach slice. Enjoy!
