Delicious and easy baked Hawaiian BBQ sliders – pulled BBQ pork, pineapple, pickled jalapeños, shredded pepper jack on buttered Hawaiian slider rolls!
If you need a fun new recipe for this fourth of July weekend, this is the one for you! It’s incredibly easy and such a crowd pleaser. To make it easier, I use all Trader Joe’s ingredients. Such as their pre-made pulled BBQ pork. However, I list ingredients substitutes for those of you who don’t have access to Trader Joe’s.
What you’ll need for this recipe:
Pulled BBQ pork – I get this pre-made at Trader Joe’s. They also have a brisket version if that’s more of your thing. You can also make these with chicken by using shredded rotisserie mixed with your favorite BBQ sauce. A lot of stores also sell the Jack Daniel’s BBQ pulled pork and/or chicken. So, the options are really endless! You can’t go wrong either way.
Hawaiian slider rolls – I use Trader Joe’s sweet pull apart aloha rolls. Most of the other grocery stores sell the King Hawaiian brand which is also amazing! You just want 12 rolls total for this recipe.
Finely chopped pineapple
Pickled jalapeño slices – I use Trader Joe’s pickled/fermented ones. If you want ones that are more on the sweet side they sell the sweet and spicy jalapeño slices.
Shredded pepper jack cheese
Melted butter
Other recipes you will love for the 4th:
Pimento cheese stuffed mini peppers
I’ve been making variations of these Hawaiian BBQ sliders for years now! Whether it’s a holiday party, Super Bowl, or any gathering. They’re always devoured in no time. Who doesn’t love a good slider recipe?!
I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday weekend!
