Baked brie with caramelized pear, pecans, and pomegranate seeds – this gooey and cheesy appetizer served with some crackers is delicious!
A holiday party isn’t a holiday party without some cheese. I’m all for a good charcuterie board. I could snack on cheese, meats and crackers all night. I thought this baked brie would be an amazing addition to any charcuterie board or holiday gathering.
It’s packed with winter flavors. The gooey soft baked brie, the maple caramelized pears, candied pecan halves and sweet pomegranate seeds. If that doesn’t scream “happy holidays” – I’m not sure what does.
I love serving this baked brie with caramelized pear with Trader Joe’s raisin rosemary crackers. They go absolutely perfect with it!
What I love most about this recipe is how easy it is to make. Also, love the minimal ingredients. I think everyone could use more simple recipes this time of year. If you’re super busy and need something to bring to a party – this would be perfect for you!

PrintBaked Brie With Caramelized Pear
Ingredients
16.9 oz. round brie (or 9 oz if you want smaller)
1 pear, chopped
1/3 cup pecan halves
3 tbsp pomegranate seeds
1 tbsp butter or ghee
3 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp dijon
pinch of cinnamon
pinch of sea salt
crackers for serving
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Line a baking sheet with non-stick foil or parchment paper. Place brie on top and bake for about 15-16 minutes or until it’s soft. If you use a 9 oz. brie it will take less time so keep a close eye on it.
Meanwhile, in a small sauce pan add butter or ghee over medium heat.
Once melted, add pecans and toss for 1-2 minutes. Set pecans aside.
Add maple syrup, dijon, cinnamon and salt. Let cook for about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add pear and let cook another 3-4 minutes or until it’s softened.
Let brie rest for about 5-8 minutes before cutting into it.
Top baked brie with cooked pears, pomegranate seeds and pecans. Drizzle leftover maple syrup mixture on top. Cut into it and serve with crackers.
